It is my goal to protect your privacy online and offline. This document outlines what data I collect, with whom I share this data, and how the data is used.

Online, I collect data from various web forms, including your name, email, phone number, and any other identifying information you may voluntarily choose to disclose on the "Do you have more to say?" page. If you become a client, I may create a user account for you on the website that includes this data and data regarding appointments for past and future cuddle sessions, including but not limited to street addresses, dates, and times.

The CuddleWithChris.com web host and website may collect electronic data about your device and its connection such as your IP address, browser information and history, device information, meta data, certain provided social media identifiers, etc. Communication between your web browser and the CuddleWithChris.com web host is encrypted.

When we agree to an in-person cuddle session at a location, such as your home address, I will add that location to my records.

I share your data with outside organizations and individuals as described in the following list, with the understanding that these outside organizations and individuals will also hold your data in the strictest confidence:

  • My scheduling service YouCanBook.me collects your name, email address, and (optionally) your phone number, and it also posts this information to my Google Calendar when you book a meeting or cuddle session with me. The Google Calendar I use for scheduling cuddle meetings and sessions is only viewable by me and is not shared with anyone else.

    YouCanBook.me further states the following:

We are a UK company; and as such, we do comply with the UK's Data Protection Act (UK GDPR) and EU GDPR and we have a number of robust security measures in place.

Basically, whatever information you gather on the booking form is stored on our server and retained for the purposes of notifications and reminders. So, we would hold John Smith's email and phone number so that we can send text messages, confirmation emails and reminders to him (as selected by you). The information itself isn't encrypted but we use industry-strength encryption to protect the server.

The data for individual bookings will be held and processed by us up to the date of the relevant booking and for up to 24 months after the time and date of the booking by default. The data will be automatically deleted after 24 months unless the account holder changes the default setting.

    Google further states the following:

Keeping you safe online means protecting your information and respecting your privacy. That’s why, in every product we make, we focus on keeping your information secure, treating it responsibly, and keeping you in control. Our teams work every day to make Google products safe no matter what you’re doing—browsing the web, managing your inbox, or getting directions. Your information is protected by world-class security.

  • For my safety, I may share information about which client I will be with, when, and where with a trusted friend.
  • If you intentionally and/or repeatedly disregard the Code of Conduct during our cuddle session or in our communications, I may share feedback about you with the Cuddlist organization.
  • I may share information about you with other parties if you give me your explicit permission to do so.

I am happy to answer your questions regarding this policy or to grant your request to remove your data from my database and my accounts at my scheduling providers. Please email me with your request, use the contact form, or send mail via the US Postal Service to Chris Hallett, PO Box 7369, Lowell, MA 01852.
